Dennis Lopez joined QuadReal as Chief Executive Officer in June 2017. He is responsible for the leadership of the company’s professionals and its global investment and management strategy. His mandate is to grow and diversify the portfolio and to ensure that QuadReal continues to deliver peerless service to its tenants and residents and strong returns. A seasoned real estate investment professional, Dennis brings a strong international outlook and deep relationships with global real estate leaders to the QuadReal team.
He has 30 years of industry experience in real estate acquisition, development, M&A, financing and investment trusts, and has worked in the Americas, Asia and Europe. Until May of 2017, Dennis served as the CIO of AXA Real Estate, the fifth largest global real estate investment manager. Based in London, Paris and New York, he worked with his team to approve over $80 billion in acquisitions, sales and loans during his tenure at AXA. Previously, he held senior positions in international real estate, including serving as the CEO of SUN Real Estate Group, a private equity firm where he oversaw major investment projects in emerging markets.
Dennis holds a BA in Business Administration from California State University Long Beach, and an MBA in Finance from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He currently holds several board and industry memberships, including a board seat with American Campus Communities, and memberships with the Real Estate Round Table, the Urban Land Institute and Zell Lurie Wharton Real Estate Center. Dennis is based in Vancouver, at QuadReal’s head office. In joining QuadReal, he is excited to work with and lead the QuadReal team in its mandate to become a leading institutional real estate investment firm – with properties in Canada and around the world.

In his role as COO of BCI, Steve is seconded to QuadReal as the acting COO. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring that all systems and processes are implemented according to the company’s strategic plan, from IT to Board table, and that the interface with BCI is effective.
Prior to joining BCI, where he oversees the back office and middle office functions, Steve held the role of Assistant Deputy Minister of Finance & Administration at the BC Ministry of Education, and CFO at WorkSafeBC.
Steve holds a B.A. in Business from Washington State University and is a C.P.A, C.A. Steve also has successfully completed the ICD corporate directors program, and is a director on the Parkbridge Lifestyles Community Board. Steve Barnett also joined the QuadReal Board of Directors in June 2016. To Steve, it is exciting to be a part of a new company with QuadReal’s spirit and mission.

Rebecca Catley joined QuadReal as Vice President, Corporate Communications in November 2017. In this role, she is responsible for developing and leading QuadReal’s communication program in support of its global strategy.
Rebecca brings more than 20 years of communications experience to the role during which time she held progressively senior positions that involved corporate mergers, international events and major asset acquisitions in North America. Most recently she was Senior Director of Communications at Vantage Airport Group, a global airport developer and operator, and Director of Corporate Communications at Vancouver Airport Authority, where she was responsible for both internal and external communications at Canada’s second busiest airport.
Rebecca holds a BA from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario with majors in International Relations and Linguistics. She will be located at the Vancouver office where she is most excited about working with a dynamic and enthusiastic team in a new company focused on becoming an industry leader.

Roger J. Chouinard joined QuadReal as Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary in June 2017. He is responsible for all transactional, operational and corporate legal matters, including board governance and regulatory compliance.
Roger has deep expertise in business and corporate finance law, real estate acquisitions and joint ventures, complex transactions and structures in Canada and internationally, as well as compliance oversight. Most recently, he served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for First Capital Realty, one of Canada’s largest owners, developers and managers of grocery-anchored, retail-focused urban properties. Previously, he was a Partner with McCarthy Tétrault LLP, a leading Canadian business law and litigation firm.
Roger holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, a Bachelor of Laws in Civil Law from Université Laval, a Bachelor of Laws in Common Law from the University of Victoria, and a Master of Laws in Securities Law from Osgoode Hall Law School (York University). Roger feels energized to be part of the team shaping QuadReal into a world-class real estate investor and manager that is fueled by the passion, engagement and integrity of its people.

Rosemary Feenan joins QuadReal as Executive Vice President, Research in May 2018. She will focus on strategic research and analysis in support of QuadReal’s international investment objectives.
She was formerly Director of Global Research Programmes at JLL, concentrating on urbanisation, changes in city competitiveness and the impact of technological advances on real estate. She previously held a Board position at Chesterton International and a senior position at CACI Limited. In her early career she worked as a town planner and as a retail analyst. A frequent speaker at international conferences, Rosemary is also a Trustee of ULI and of the Centre for Cities and sits on the World Economic Forum’s ‘Future of Cities and Urbanisation’ Council. She has also served on a number of international advisory councils regarding urban and real estate futures.
Rosemary holds a Master’s in Environmental Planning from Nottingham University. She is excited to join QuadReal to contribute to its commitment to real estate innovation and providing communities of value to all.

Cheryl Gray joined QuadReal in January 2017 as Executive Vice President leading the Enterprise Resources and Innovation Team, providing expertise to the Canadian real estate portfolio in sustainability, risk management, environmental health and safety, national contracting services and property management best practices.
Prior to joining QuadReal, Cheryl held several leadership positions in Bentall Kennedy, most recently having launched their Canadian residential property management business platform. Prior to Bentall Kennedy, she worked at several major Canadian real estate firms in senior management roles where she was responsible for office, industrial, retail and residential portfolios.
Cheryl holds a B.A. of Economics from the University of Waterloo, and has a Certified Property Manager ® designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). She serves as a Senior Vice President of IREM’s Executive Committee and is the 2018 Secretary Treasurer nominee, the first international member to be nominated to an officer role with IREM

Garry P. Herdler joined QuadReal as Chief Financial Officer in August 2017. He is responsible for QuadReal’s global capital structure and advancement in systems, processes, funding and financial strategies.
Garry has extensive experience in developing and executing complex operating strategies using a metrics driven approach to corporate growth, financial management and acquisition or merger integration. Garry brings significant US and Canadian finance and operations expertise with over 25 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer, an investment banker, a chartered accountant/tax advisor and a private equity consultant. Most recently he was Senior Director in the Private Equity Performance Improvement Group of Alvarez & Marsal in New York, focused on performing C-Level financial management, performance improvement and acquisition integration. Garry has acted in multiple CFO roles, including one US publicly listed company and five US private equity-owned companies. Previously, he spent nearly ten years as an Investment Banker in leveraged finance and capital markets for Deutsche Bank Securities, Bankers Trust and CIBC World Markets. Prior to his time in the US, he was a member of KPMG Peat Marwick Thorne’s Real Estate & Tax Corporate Finance Group in Vancouver.
Garry holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) in Finance & Accounting from the University of British Columbia, a Chartered Professional Accountant license in British Columbia, and he completed the CICA two-year In-Depth Taxation Course. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the American Friends of Whistler since 2003. Prior to QuadReal, Neil was Vice President, Property Management at Bentall Kennedy with responsibility for management of 16 million square feet of office and industrial property across Toronto and Ottawa. He was also a Property Director at Manulife Financial and Founder & Vice President, Real Estate for Elevator News Network (Captivate).
Neil holds a degree in Economics from The University of Victoria and is a LEED-GA. He is currently Past Chair of BOMA Toronto, sits on the Board of BOMA Canada, and chairs its Governance Committee. Susan brings over thirty years’ experience in real estate. Susan was formerly Executive Vice President, Portfolio Management with GWL Realty Advisors, where she was responsible for relationship management with BCI. Previous positions included portfolio management with a Canadian pension plan, private real estate development, and commissioned real estate sales.
Susan holds a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College, an MBA from the University of Toronto, and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, completing the Directors Education Program in 2007. Doug Reid joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, Finance in June 2016. Prior to joining QuadReal, Doug was with Bentall Kennedy for over 20 years. During his time with the company, Doug held senior positions relating to acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, treasury management and financial reporting. Previously, Doug has held various finance positions with a number of private and publicly traded real estate companies.
Doug is an accredited member of the Chartered Professional Accountants Association of British Columbia, and is excited to continue building a new company that will be a leading participant in the industry today, and well into the future.

Tom was formerly Chief Information Officer with Prologis, where he was responsible for building world-class technology strategy and execution across the company’s global operations. Previously, he held executive and leadership positions with Home Advisor and Janus Mutual Funds. Tom builds and leads teams which focus relentlessly on executing business strategy and driving great business results through technology and innovation.
Tom holds a BS in Computer Science from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He is a passionate advocate for technology’s potential to deliver value and transform experiences for QuadReal’s customers and team members.

Don brings over thirty years’ experience in commercial real estate. Don was formerly Senior Vice President, Real Estate with Bentall Kennedy, where he was responsible for the strategy, direction and growth of Bentall Kennedy’s development, leasing and property management in Calgary and Winnipeg. Previous positions included senior management positions in both Calgary and Vancouver with Oxford Properties and Bentall Kennedy.
Don holds a B.Comm. from the University of Calgary, and currently serves as the Past Chair of BOMA Canada and sits on the BOMA International Nominating Committee. Previously, Don was a Director of BOMA Calgary for six years and Chair in 2012. Paul Derksen joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, Industrial, Prairies in February 2017. He focuses on Industrial Real Estate and is responsible for the Prairie region.
With over 25 years of knowledge in Leasing, Asset Management and Development, he brings a wealth of diversified experience to the QuadReal leadership team. He was formerly the Development Manager for GWL Realty Advisors, where he was responsible for the development of their industrial business parks in Alberta. Previously, he held senior positions with Verus Partners as Development Manager for Western Canada and CBRE as a national level industrial real estate broker.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Calgary. He currently serves as the Government Affairs lead for industrial real estate for NAIOP. Working with governments enables Paul to help create policy that is fair and straightforward for QuadReal assets and developments. A born-and-raised Calgarian, Paul works with the City of Calgary and the Boys and Girls Club on the development of recreational and skateboard parks. He is eager to bring his community-minded outlook to QuadReal.

Richard Morden joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, Office, Prairies in February 2017. His focus is leading the Prairies’ office team, which manages over 8 million square feet of office real estate in Calgary and Edmonton.
Richard has been active in commercial real estate for over 30 years in Toronto, Vancouver, for the last 14 years, Calgary. Previously, Richard worked with Bentall Kennedy and Beutel Goodman Real Estate Group, where he held positions focusing on investment and portfolio management, and supplemented by transactional experience including acquisitions, dispositions, development and financing of commercial real estate totalling over $2.6 billion in value.
Richard holds a B.A. in Urban Geography from UBC, an MBA from The Richard Ivey School of Business, and has completed the Business Leadership Program at Queen’s University. Richard is currently Secretary/Treasurer of BOMA Calgary, a member of the Board of Directors and Government Affairs of NAIOP and a member of Calgary Economic Development’s Real Estate Sector Advisory Committee. Jeff Rank joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, Leasing, BC in February 2017. In this role, he oversees all leasing activity for BC office and industrial assets as well as pre-leasing activity for new developments.
Jeff brings 29 years of real estate experience to QuadReal, having most recently held the position of VP of Project Development, Marketing and Leasing with Bentall Kennedy, where he was responsible for leasing a significant office and industrial portfolio including BCI’s 745 Thurlow and Broadway Tech Centre developments. Jeff’s prior experience includes Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield in Vancouver, and VP Leasing at Bentall Real Estate Services.
Jeff obtained a Marketing Administration Degree from Seneca College, and contributes to the ongoing professional development of commercial real estate professionals with the BC Real Estate Association in both a consulting and a teaching capacity. He served on the Board of NAIOP’s Vancouver Chapter as Chairperson, President and National Director over a span of 14 years, and frequently volunteers at the Union Gospel Mission. Jeff values working with a results-oriented QuadReal team that will continually strive to deliver strong investment returns to BCI’s pension plan clients.

Chris was formerly a Vice President, Investment Management at Bentall Kennedy. He joined Bentall Kennedy in 1992 as a member of the commercial leasing team, with a focus on downtown and suburban office development leasing. In 2003, Chris joined the investment management team servicing BCI’s account, with a continuing focus on downtown and suburban office development projects. Prior to joining Bentall Kennedy, Chris worked in commercial real estate brokerage and articled for a major firm of chartered accountants.

With considerable international real estate investment experience spanning North America, Asia and Europe, Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge to the QuadReal leadership team. Formerly a Managing Director of Nomura International, one of Asia’s largest Investment Banks, Jonathan also worked in a senior role with Lehman Brothers in the Global Real Estate Group where he invested on behalf of the bank and its private equity funds across Asia, as well as in Europe and North America.
Jonathan has an MBA from INSEAD, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia in Urban Land Economics. Jonathan sees QuadReal as a truly unique opportunity to assemble a global team which will build a diversified, well performing, international portfolio.

He was formerly the SVP of Dream Office REIT, where he was responsible for portfolio management and national programs. Previously, he held senior positions with Oxford Properties Group and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). At ADIA, Maud was responsible for origination and asset management of a large diversified portfolio in US and Brazil.
Maud holds a B.A.(Hons) from York University and is a CFA charterholder. He currently serves on the management team of Humanity First Canada, a non-profit global relief organization. Maud is drawn to be part of the QuadReal because of its compelling future.

Lucy Fletcher joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, International Portfolio Management in June 2017. Her work with QuadReal focuses on international portfolio strategy.
With extensive global advisory and asset management experience, Lucy brings a deep knowledge of market trends and strategy to the QuadReal leadership team, having been directly involved in over $12 billion worth of global real estate transactions. She was formerly Managing Director of JLL, where she was responsible for facilitating cross border investments and advising institutional clients on international strategies for both debt and equity capital transactions. Previously, she held senior asset management positions with Merrill Lynch (Asia Pacific) Limited and New Star Asset Management.
Lucy holds an MA (Hons) in Architectural Design from University of Edinburgh and a Postgraduate Diploma in Estate Management from South Bank University, London. She is a member of ULI’s Responsible Property Investment Council and has served on the RICS board in the Midwest and BC. Daniel previously served as Vice President at AEW Capital Management, a Boston-based institutional real estate advisor, where he spent 13 years investing in office, industrial, multifamily and retail properties throughout the United States and Canada. He began his career at UBS in 2001 and subsequently worked in the US Equities Group at IG Investment Management.

Varinder Grewal joined QuadReal as Vice President, International Investments in January 2017, including active involvement in the establishment of QuadReal since June 2016. He focuses on building the international business, with an emphasis on Europe and Asia, and is responsible for transaction origination, asset and portfolio management.
Varinder was formerly a Portfolio Manager in BCI’s Real Estate Group, where he was instrumental in re-launching BCI’s international real estate program in 2014. Previously, he was an investment banker at TD Securities, primarily covering Canadian real estate capital markets.
Varinder holds a B.Comm. from the University of British Columbia. He is a CFA charterholder and sat on the Board of CFA Victoria for three years. Varinder is committed to ensuring the successful establishment of QuadReal and the unique opportunity to grow a high-quality, diversified international real estate portfolio working with best-in-class operating and financial partners.

He was formerly the Senior Vice President of Alpha Investment Partners based in Singapore, a $10 billion real estate private equity firm. Previously, he held senior positions with J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo in Special Situations and Principal Investment Groups in Asia and the U.S. He has also been involved in capital raising activities amounting to $3.5 billion.
Richard received B.S. and M.S. degrees from Cornell University in Economics and Electrical & Computer Engineering. Richard puts his utmost emphasis on integrity and is fully committed to building it internally and externally at QuadReal.

Peter Kim joined QuadReal as Managing Director, Asia in November 2017. His focus is on building the international portfolio, with an emphasis on our strategy in the Asia Pacific region.
Peter was formerly a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Real Estate and Infrastructure Department at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), specifically focused on Asia Pacific investments. Before that, Peter was a Managing Director at CBRE Global Investors in Hong Kong where he had a dual role as Regional Head of Acquisitions for Asia Pacific and Fund Manager of the CBRE Phoenix Real Estate Fund, a pan-Asian opportunistic strategy. He also spent 11 years in the investment banking and fixed income divisions at Lehman Brothers where he built and led the bank’s real estate investment banking team in Asia.
Peter graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. Peter is excited to join QuadReal as the team looks to strengthen existing and cultivate new relationships across Asia Pacific.

Jay Kwan joined QuadReal as Managing Director, Europe in February 2018. His focus is on building the international portfolio, with an emphasis on investing in Global Cities in the U.K. and Europe.
Jay was formerly a Managing Director at TPG Real Estate, the real estate investment group of private equity firm TPG, specifically focused on European investments. Prior to joining TPG in 2016, Jay was a Partner at Grove International Partners, an independent real estate private equity firm spun out from Soros Private Funds Management, where he spent 13 years investing in three continents across all asset classes at both the corporate and asset level. Jay began his career at Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners in New York in 2001.
Jay graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University in New York. Jay is committed to excellence in investing and prudent stewardship of the portfolio with a long-term focus.

Nat Miller joined QuadReal in August 2016. He focuses primarily on US multifamily and industrial investments and select Asia investments.
He was formerly with IMT Capital, a multifamily fund manager based in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for underwriting, financial analysis, and fundraising across four funds totaling $1.8 billion in committed capital. Previously, he held positions at J.P. Morgan as a credit analyst and as a relationship manager in the firm’s asset management business.
Nat started his career with Colliers International in China, focusing on industrial investment sales. Nat holds a BA from the College of William & Mary and an MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He is a CFA charterholder. Nat joined QuadReal to help build it into one of the most highly regarded real estate companies in the world.

Jeffrey Munger joined QuadReal as Vice President, Research in January 2017. His work focuses on the collaborative formulation of QuadReal’s international investment strategy, working closely with both internal and external research colleagues.
With 20 years of real estate research, investment strategy, debt placement and advisory service experience, Jeffrey brings a deep understanding of urban systems, economics, and capital markets to the QuadReal investment management team. Formerly the Director of Strategy & Research with BCI, Jeffrey has also worked in senior real estate research roles in the United States with Bentall Kennedy, HFF and Lionstone Investments.
Jeffrey has a M.S. in Real Estate & Land Development from Texas A&M University, and a B.A. in Urban Studies from the University of Maryland. Passionate about real estate and cities, he feels privileged to work within an organization that understands and cares about how buildings influence people and contribute to communities.

Yukihisa Murata joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, International Real Estate, Asia in April 2018. His primary responsibilities include originating investment opportunities, structuring and financing transactions, and managing partner relationships throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Formerly a Deputy General Manager of Sumisho Realty Management, the asset management arm of Sumitomo Corporation, Yukihisa was responsible for structuring and sourcing outbound investment opportunities from Japanese institutions, particularly into North America. Prior to his time at Sumisho, Yukihisa held senior roles at CBRE Global Investors, and Lehman Brothers, where he engaged in a number of real estate investment and asset management activities throughout Japan and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region. He started his career with Long Term Credit Bank of Japan in 1991.
Yukihisa received a BA from Sophia University, Tokyo. He is delighted to add to the diversity of QuadReal’s international real estate team and contribute to the performance of its global portfolio.

Jameson Weber joined QuadReal as Global Head of Special Situations in January 2018. He focuses on global investments across technology-enabled and alternative real estate, companies and special situations.
He was formerly a Vice President and part of the founding team at Hightower, a leading real estate technology company, where he was responsible for both product strategy and business development. Previously, he held senior positions at Oaktree Capital Management and Cerberus Capital Management where he focused on equity and debt investments in commercial real estate and corporate real estate and securities. Prior to that he worked in the real estate group at Morgan Stanley.
Jameson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Jameson is excited to join QuadReal’s dynamic team and contribute to the global investment strategy.

Timothy Works joined QuadReal as Managing Director, Americas in February 2017, where he leads the company’s investment and portfolio management in the US and Latin America.
During his 26-year real estate career, Tim has been involved in over $10 billion in real estate transactions focusing on new investments and developments in all property types. Prior to joining QuadReal, Tim was Senior Portfolio Manager with BCI, where he led the efforts to restructure the firm’s international real estate portfolio leading new investments and portfolio management in the US, UK, Japan, Australia and Mexico. Prior to BCI, Tim was a portfolio manager with CalSTRS and Colorado PERA focusing on new investments for each company’s respective real estate portfolios.
Tim holds a B.A. with a double major in Real Estate and Finance from The University of Denver. He is a member of ULI and PREA, where he sits on the Institutional Investor Council, and has served on the Board of Directors for multiple investment and development companies. What excites Tim about joining QuadReal is being part of a new rapidly growing organization dedicated to creating value for its clients and building a world class real estate portfolio across the globe.

John Marotta joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, Development in February 2017. He focuses on all aspects of development, design, entitlement and construction, and is responsible for a wide range of projects in the Eastern Canadian region.
John brings almost 30 years of industry-leading office, industrial and multi-family residential development experience to the QuadReal leadership team. He was formerly the Senior Vice President, Development, Eastern Canada for Bentall Kennedy, where he was responsible for the acquisition, design, entitlement and construction of various multi-family high rise and mixed-use projects. Previously, he held senior leasing and development positions with Paul’s Properties Corporation and CIBC Development Corporation.
John holds an Honours Degree in Urban Development from The University of Western Ontario, and is a past President of NAIOP Calgary. John is excited to share his experience in and passion for the industry with his colleagues and team members to build a portfolio of enduring quality and distinction for QuadReal’s stakeholders.

Jeff joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President Development, Prairies in January 2017. He is focused on the execution and delivery of opportunities inherent in the existing development portfolio as well as those for growth.
Prior to joining QuadReal, Jeff was Senior Vice President, Development, Prairie Region for GWL Realty Advisors, where he was responsible for all commercial and residential development activities. Previously, he was an office leasing agent with a major commercial real estate brokerage firm.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Calgary, and is a member of several industry associations including NAIOP and the Urban Land Institute. Marc Ricou, CFA, joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, Development Acquisitions in February 2017. He focuses on management of large mixed-use development projects, including the Post Office redevelopment in Vancouver, as well as acquisitions supporting QuadReal’s future development pipeline.
He was formerly Senior Vice President, Investment Management with Bentall Kennedy, where, starting in 2001, he held various roles focused on commercial real estate development, asset management, portfolio management and acquisitions. During his time at Bentall Kennedy, Marc was directly involved in the development and acquisition of real estate assets exceeding $2.5 billion in value. Marc also previously held a senior position with the BC Buildings Corporation undertaking real estate acquisitions, dispositions and redevelopment of large institutional land holdings.
Marc holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia in Urban Land Economics, and is a CFA charterholder. Toby Wu, CFA, joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, Development, East in February 2017. In this role, he focuses on the company’s development activities in the Eastern Region.
Toby was formerly Senior Vice President of Investment Management at Bentall Kennedy, where he was responsible for the asset management and development activities for a number of office, industrial, multi-residential, and seniors’ properties in the GTA. Throughout Toby’s career in real estate, he has held positions across organizations of increasing responsibility and diversity while based in Vancouver, Beijing, Calgary, and now Toronto.
Toby holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of British Columbia, and is a CFA charterholder. With development being a significant component of the strategic plan for QuadReal, Toby is committed to unlocking value while prudently advancing projects within the portfolio.

Remco Daal joined QuadReal as President of Canadian Real Estate in June 2016. He focuses on the company’s domestic operations, including investment, development, and the management operation of the Canadian property portfolio.
He was formerly the President and Chief Operating Officer of Bentall Kennedy in Canada, where he was responsible for overall Canadian financial and operating performance. Previously, he held senior positions with CIBC Development Corporation and a private Toronto-based development company.
Remco holds a B.Comm. from Wilfrid Laurier University, and an MBA from European University. He currently serves on the board of Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities as well as the Faculty Advisory Board of UBC’s Sauder School of Business. Carl Gomez joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, Research & Strategy in February 2017. He oversees portfolio strategy, research and strategic market analysis for the company from both the fundamental and capital markets perspective.
He was formerly the SVP & Chief Economist of Bentall Kennedy, where he was responsible for leading Canadian research initiatives. Previously, he held senior economist positions specializing in real estate and financial market analysis at TD Bank Group, the Royal Bank of Canada and CMHC.
Carl holds an M.A. in Financial Economics from the University of Victoria, and an Honours B.A. (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario. He is currently on the board of directors for the Toronto Association of Business Economists and is also a part time instructor at the Schulich School of Business. Carl has spent much of his professional career building the case for real estate as a key institutional asset class and is excited to support QuadReal as it manages and grows its global real estate portfolio.

John joined QuadReal as Executive Vice President, Portfolio Management in February 2017. He focuses on driving performance and growth of the Canadian property portfolio, including investment, development and portfolio management activities.
He was formerly Executive Vice President & Portfolio Manager of Bentall Kennedy, responsible for overall portfolio performance and asset management activities of the commercial and multi-residential properties managed by Bentall Kennedy on behalf of BCI. Previously, he was a senior executive of a Canadian REIT focused on investment and management in the hotel sector. John started his career as a lawyer with Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg in Toronto, where he participated in numerous leading real estate financing and restructuring transactions.
John holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia, an LL.B from the University of Toronto, and B.A. Economics from the University of Saskatchewan. Daily, he is inspired by and feels privileged to be working with QuadReal’s talented team of dedicated professionals.

Anthony Lanni joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, Residential in February 2017. He is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of QuadReal’s Canadian Residential and Seniors Housing portfolios, including responsibility for the sector’s integrated investment management, technical services and property management functional areas.
With demonstrated leadership in acquisitions, development and construction, Anthony brings a deep understanding of markets and design to the QuadReal leadership team. Anthony was formerly a Vice President with Bentall Kennedy, where he led multi-family asset management activities in Canada. Previously, he was a partner with a Canadian development company with responsibility for the firm’s investment and development programs. Earlier, Anthony worked in corporate finance in both New York and Toronto with a global financial institution.
Anthony holds an MBA in Real Estate & Finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University, a BES from York University, and is a Professional Land Economist. He values working in an industry where passion and creativity is the rule, not the exception.

Dean Holmes joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President Residential of Operations in January 2018. He focuses on the operations and performance of the company’s residential portfolio by providing leadership to the team, and instilling strong resident service focus.
He was formerly the Senior Vice President of Operations with Campus Apartments where he oversaw operations for the firm’s national student housing portfolio. Dean was also the Chief Operating Officer with Equus Capital Partners/Madison Apartment Group and a Division Vice President with Berkshire Property Advisors.
Dean holds bachelor of science and master of science degrees from the University of Maryland and is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He is a Certified Property Manager Candidate and a member of the Multifamily Advisory Board for TransUnion and the National Multi Housing Council. Dean is passionate about the residential industry and excited to work alongside the dynamic team at QuadReal to nurture an unmatched dedication to service and a vibrant culture for team members.

John Burdi joined QuadReal as Vice President, Residential, East in November 2016. He is responsible for the overall management and performance of QuadReal’s Residential portfolio in Eastern Canada, including the development and implementation of QuadReal’s resident-focused management of the residential portfolio.
With over 20 years of residential management experience, John was formerly Director, Residential with KingSett Capital, where his role included asset and relationship management with its JV partners and external Property Managers. His previous positions included VP, Operations with Q Residential, and over nine years as District Manager and AVP, Operations with Realstar Management, where John managed many of BCI’s eastern Canada residential assets.
John is a graduate from George Brown College, with a diploma in Property Management, and aims to shortly acquire his CPM designation through IREM. John is a member of FRPO – Federation of Rental-Housing Providers of Ontario and GTAA – Greater Toronto Apartment Association. John is excited to be part of QuadReal and especially eager to play an active role in the growth and success of the company’s residential management team.

Kerri Jackson joined QuadReal as Vice President, Residential, West in February 2017. She has responsibility for the overall management and performance of the multi-family assets across Western Canada.
Bringing considerable experience in residential property management to QuadReal, Kerri was formerly VP, Residential, West with Bentall Kennedy, where she was responsible for the financial and operational management of assets in BC and Alberta, including property acquisitions and the transition of new building developments to full operation. Her previous positions included Regional Director of Operations with Revera Inc. and District Manager with Realstar Management, where Kerri managed many of the BCI assets.
Kerri has an MBA from the University of Windsor, and a Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University. She is inspired to empower and lead a team of real estate managers so that they can be their very best.

Andy Clydesdale joined QuadReal as Executive Vice President, Retail in February 2017. He focuses on buying, developing, leasing, and managing a diverse portfolio of retail formats, and is responsible for all aspects of QuadReal’s national retail portfolio.
He was formerly the President and COO of Retail Services at Bentall Kennedy, where he founded, built, and developed their retail division.
Andy holds a B.S.c. in geophysics from the University of Alberta. A highly respected industry expert with 33 years of experience, Andy is looking forward to continuing to instill change in the industry in innovative and exciting ways as a member of the QuadReal team.

Chrystal Burns joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, Retail West in February 2017, and is responsible for the performance of QuadReal’s retail properties in BC and Alberta.
Prior to QuadReal, Chrystal worked at Bentall Kennedy in successive roles, most recently as the Retail Sector Lead responsible for the asset management of a $2 billion portfolio across Canada.
Chrystal is a graduate of the University of Cape Town (BA), and the University of British Columbia (Urban Land), and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. She completed a joint MBA at Queen’s University and Cornell University in 2010. Chrystal is one of the Founders and the Past President of CREW Vancouver, and continues to serve the organization in various roles. Chrystal is excited by QuadReal’s entrepreneurialism and collaborative approach which positions the company well to seize new opportunities in the rapidly changing retail landscape.

Jay Camacho joined QuadReal as Senior Vice President, Retail, East in February 2017. He is responsible for all asset management activities related to shopping centres for Eastern Canada.
Jay has 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, having been involved in various aspects of the business including operations, leasing, redevelopment, finance, acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to joining Bentall Kennedy in 2016, Jay held senior management positions in both public and private companies, as well as actively managed his own real estate consulting business.
Jay holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Trinity College at The University of Toronto, and is excited to be part of the new QuadReal team. He looks forward to managing and growing the portfolio to maximize value and opportunity for its stakeholders.
