Richard Morden joined QuadReal in February 2017. As Senior Vice President, Commercial, Western Canada, his focus is on leading teams across the Prairies and British Columbia, which collectively manage over 8 million square feet of office real estate in Calgary and Edmonton, and over 7 million square feet of office and industrial real estate in Vancouver.
Richard has been active in commercial real estate for 37 years in Toronto, Vancouver, and for the last 21 years, Calgary. Previously, Richard worked with Bentall Kennedy (now BentallGreenOak) and Beutel Goodman Real Estate Group in positions focusing on investment and portfolio management, supplemented by transactional experience including acquisitions, dispositions, development and financing of commercial real estate totalling over $2.6 billion.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Geography from the University of British Columbia, a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business and has completed the Business Leadership Program at Queen’s University. Richard is Past Chair of BOMA Calgary, a past board member and current member of the Government Affairs Committee of NAIOP Calgary and a member of Calgary Economic Development’s Real Estate Sector Advisory Committee.
