Supporting the Next Generation of Leaders in Real Estate

QuadReal Partners with Project Destined

QuadReal is launching a partnership with Project Destined, the social impact platform focused on providing real estate mentorship and education to college students from underserved communities.

Established in 2016, Project Destined has worked with more than 5,000 participants in 35 cities across the U.S., UK, Canada, Europe and Asia. Project Destined arranges for students to join real estate professionals to evaluate real-life commercial real estate deals from their communities over three-week rotations, culminating in a pitch competition to industry leaders. As part of this partnership, QuadReal’s mentors based in New York City will prepare, engage and guide students through real-life scenarios one-on-one to help them develop a range of skills designed to aid them in launching their careers in commercial real estate.

“At QuadReal, we wholeheartedly believe in the importance of mentorship and devoting time and resources to nurture and support the next generation of real estate professionals. By working with Project Destined, we can continue to grow our already successful early talent program and provide meaningful, career-enhancing opportunities to more students from all different backgrounds and communities. We look forward to welcoming many students through our doors and watching their careers flourish.” — Jamie Weber, Managing Director, Americas

This collaboration unites QuadReal and Project Destined in their collective goals to support the communities where they operate and provide training to a diverse group of future real estate owners and leaders.

“We are excited to work with QuadReal Property Group to expand access to the real estate sector. QuadReal has a strong reputation globally in real estate investment, operations and development and this partnership will provide students a strong foundation and a deep understanding of the sector.” — Cedric Bobo, Co-Founder of Project Destined

“Having the opportunity to share my knowledge and insights with future members of the real estate industry is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career. Through Project Destined, I have the chance to connect with a talented group of students whose passion for this industry is inspiring.” – Zac Friss, Associate, International Real Estate

“I am really looking forward to being one of the QuadReal mentors and giving back to our industry by supporting the future leaders in real estate. Being able to explore the business in such a hands-on way is a unique opportunity and one that will really set these students apart as they continue their careers.” – Katie Lynch, Associate, Asset Management, Industrial

This week marks QuadReal’s first rotation with the students in Project Destined and we are thrilled to support this organization as they continue to grow and positively shape the commercial real estate industry, now and for generations to come.
