Meadowvale Corporate Centre launches its very first Community Harvest Garden

In partnership with Scotts Canada, QuadReal’s Meadowvale Corporate Centre today launched its very first Community Harvest Garden in support of the Mississauga Food Bank. This event showcased the collaborative power of community including people, tenants, organizations, and government for an important cause: getting healthy food to those who need it most.

“Frankie Flowers” from Toronto’s Breakfast Television hosted the opening and provided gardening tips to help make this communal garden flourish. Also in attendance were Councilors Pat Saito and George Carlson, MPP Bob Delaney, our tenants in the complex including Scotts Canada, other community businesses, neighbours and of course the recipient of this goodwill, the Mississauga Food Bank.

This initiative which created so much community and brought many people together shows what can be done in collaboration to make a difference. Community is truly at the heart of everything we do.

Congratulations to the team at Meadowvale Corporate Centre for their work in making this incredible and compassionate initiative a reality.
